Privacy Policy

Last updated August 25, 2026

The short version: iteko doesn't collect your data. Everything you create — tasks, projects, tags, checklists, attachments — stays in your own private iCloud account. There is no server run by iteko's developer, so there's nothing for us to collect, store, or share.

What iteko stores, and where

  • All app content (tasks, projects, tags, checklists, attachments) is stored using Apple's CloudKit, in your own private iCloud database — the same technology and privacy model Apple's own Notes and Reminders apps use.
  • Data syncs directly between your own devices through your iCloud account. It never passes through, or is stored on, any server operated by iteko's developer, because no such server exists.
  • A small set of preferences (like your default status for new tasks, or which screen opens on launch) is stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard preferences mechanism. These aren't personal or sensitive, and are never synced or transmitted anywhere.

What iteko does not do

  • No account creation, sign-up, or login of any kind beyond your existing Apple ID / iCloud account.
  • No analytics, tracking, or usage telemetry of any kind.
  • No advertising, and no advertising SDKs.
  • No third-party servers, SDKs, or network requests — iteko has no custom networking code at all.
  • No logging of your task content, anywhere.

Attachments and files

When you attach a file to a task, iteko reads that file once — with your explicit permission, via the system's own file picker — and stores it the same way as the rest of your data: in your own private iCloud database. iteko never retains broader access to your files or folders beyond the specific file you chose to attach.

Children's privacy

iteko is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children, because iteko doesn't collect information from anyone.

Your data, your control

  • Delete any task, project, tag, or attachment directly in the app, at any time.
  • To remove everything at once, delete the app and remove its data from iCloud via Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on your device.
  • There's no account with the developer to delete, because none exists — your Apple ID is the only account involved.

If this policy changes, the date above will change and the updated version will be posted at this same address. Continuing to use iteko after a change means you accept the updated policy.
